In our area of operation, which reaches around 395 square km, is a community grappling with a crisis that threatens the very core of its existence. As unemployment rates do not seem to decrease and the economic climate grows increasingly dire, families in this area struggle to put food on the table.
The harsh reality is that many families cannot afford to survive. With jobs scarce and the cost of living skyrocketing, necessities like food have become luxuries for far too many. For parents, the inability to secure a meal is a crushing blow to their dignity and well-being.
Amidst this crisis, we believe that there is hope. We believe that the generosity and compassion of the community can make a world of difference to those in need.
